Oslo, NorwayI had a layover in Oslo before going to Ireland. It is a gorgeous city and probably the largest city I've ever been in! (comparable to NYC) I was completely lost when I got off at the bus station... but I am happy to say... I figured out my tiny map and navigated just fine! Today was quite cold and rainy and after wandering around for a few hours I found out how EXPENSIVE this city is.. Wow.. $18 USD for a cheeseburger meal at Burger King!! (just to give you reference) I finally found some cheap food at a 7-11 and ate there for lunch and dinner. I slept most of the day after my walk. I needed rest and I thought since I'm paying almost $60 for one night in a hostel... I might as well get my money's worth! Haha good news is... the hostel is very nice and the beds are quite comfortable. I actually have a 9 person room all to myself :) I had a bit of adventure trying to find the bus station this morning, but I made it and I've landed in Ireland :) I'll be back in Oslo next week and have NO IDEA where I'm sleeping (or if I'll sleep) I am secretly hoping i can just chill at the bus station or airport and play on the internet. Update: Looks like I am making camp here at the airport for the night. (photo of my "bed" below) Less than 10 hours til my flight back to Finland and I can't afford to stay anywhere anyway.
